At ACS Apparel, we have been lucky enough to be involved with some pretty spectacular fundraisers. The most successful one by far was for Wild Fire Tees. In 2012 they had an amazing idea - sell tee shirts to raise money for fire stricken Colorado Springs, who was suffering through the most destructive fire in our state's history. Well, they thought they'd sell 100 shirts or so. Nope. They were marketing geniuses, and sold over 45,000 shirts. They sold over 10,000 shirts in the first two weeks. They didn't know what to do. They had unknowingly bitten off more than they could chew. That's when we entered the picture. We took over all printing, fulfillment of orders and customer service. We let them focus on marketing, and we focused on printing shirts, mailing out shirts and customer service.
Another success story was for a local elementary school, who was raising funds for a six-year-old who was suffering through his THIRD bout of brain cancer. One of the parents had an idea for the shirt and we made it come to life. We printed the shirts and sent out the orders. When all was said and done, they raised over $20,000.00 for the family and turned a school green, the kindergartner's favorite color.
